"Living Well: Cultivating Hope and Resilience

After Brain Injury"

For over 20 years, BrainTrust Canada Association has been hosting the Okanagan Conference on Brain Injury.

This conference has been a leading educational venue for professionals, family caregivers and people living with acquired brain injury for the past two decades. This interactive learning experience brings national and international experts on brain injury together each year in order to promote best practices, present current research findings in the field and to foster opportunities for new connections among the people who attend.

We are extremely pleased to partner with Pushor Mitchell LLP as the Title Sponsor for this year’s conference.   For 40 years, Pushor Mitchell LLP has provided effective legal solutions to individuals and businesses throughout BC, including personal injury support of persons with brain injury. The firm has been a dedicated supporter of our cause since our inception - assisting with  organizational legal needs, providing Board membership and sponsoring the conference Wine and Cheese reception.

We are also very excited to bring the conference to an academic setting at the University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO), located at the north end of the City of Kelowna. UBCO has a solid reputation as a valuable and respected centre of learning and research - one that enhances knowledge creation and innovation, both in this region and internationally. The Conference will be held on Thursday, June 13th and Friday June 14th, 2013.

We look forward to welcoming you at the 2013 Pushor Mitchell Okanagan Conference on Brain Injury in support of BrainTrust Canada,  and to bringing you a dynamic and vibrant group of keynote and workshop presenters!

Registration is now open.

(Please note that this conference replaces the one previously held in Naramata BC.)
